In her first year with Ameriplan® Regina was promoted 5 times and is currently a National Sales Director with the company. Her goal is to make National Vice President, our highest level, by December of 2009.  She has hundreds of independent business owners in her business and 15% of them have the title of Regional Sales Directors or higher in the company. She also has 15% of her team being Trainers for the company.

 

She started her AmeriPlan business while still working just a full time job outside the home as a senior software developer.

 

In April of 2006 Regina lost her job to downsizing. This was the 4th time in 5 years that she had been laid-off from work. "I know that the only way to be financially independent is to have something that you actually own," Regina says. "If you don't own property, or land, or a business ... you don't have control over your finances. Jobs can be taken away from you no matter how good you are and no matter how dedicated you are to the company."

 

Regina is now home with her husband working her Ameriplan® business. "When I told my daughter that I was now home for good she jumped up and down screaming for joy. My son cried. He hugged me and said 'thank you, Mommy!'", Regina recalls. It was definitely Regina's dream to be home with her children, but the most wonderful news was that it was her childrens' dream to have her home with them as well.

 

Regina believes in providing training for her team and a network of support. Regina is one of the leaders who developed the training website http://www.FreedomAtHomeTraining.com .

 

Regina  is a great example of how a working woman can have success with AmeriPlan® by working only part time. "This last time that I was laid off the owner of the company was telling all of us that we can go on Cobra to continue our benefits. Cobra was going to cost my family about $900/month! All I kept thinking about was that I had the AmeriPlan® benefits and that I didn't have to spend $900/month. The owner was also telling us that we can go register for unemployment. Well, I earned too much a month with AmeriPlan® to even qualify for unemployment! This was the first layoff where I wasn't panicing and struggling to find a job. I am so thankful that I started with AmeriPlan® back in 2004 so I can have the financial freedom today."
