ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Megan Colunga. Before becoming a mommy to my precious baby boy, I was a career woman. I was working for an international Human Resource Consulting firm. I had worked my way up from Benefit Consultant to Team Leader to Project Manager. And, I was on my way to much higher places in the firm! Being a career woman comes with a cost though... many 50-60 hour work weeks and a lot of stress since I was the leader on my teams and responsible for keeping everyone on track so we would have successful projects.
So, can you imagine what happened after I had my baby boy Taylor? Yep, that's right! 50-60 hour work weeks just weren't an option anymore. And, daycare wasn't an option. Taylor became my first priority and the "career woman" went out the door. Oh my goodness! I had worked so hard to get to that career level income and I was going to have to say goodbye to it! I wasn't ready to do that...
About that same time, I happened to ask one of my mommy walking partners what she did to work from home. She told me about Ameriplan®. It sounded interesting and so I researched it some more. Based on my research, I knew that Ameriplan® was perfect for me. It was the only work from home company I could find that:
- would let me work however much and whenever I wanted
- would not make me sell products (I didn't want to sell products!)
- actually offered a service that people need!
- was REAL and did not have any restrictions on how they would pay me (i.e. I found some that had quotas on how much I had to sell before they would pay me anything)

A few months after talking with my friend, I took the plunge and became an Ameriplan® Business Owner and Benefit Specialist. I quit my prior job and dove headfirst into Ameriplan®. Thank goodness I did! I am still a career woman! But, I am a CAREER WOMAN WORKING FOR MYSELF! Ameriplan® is such a blessing to me and my family. They have afforded us the time we deserve to spend together. At night when my husband gets home from work, we get to just hang out. We don't have to frantically try to get stuff done around the house because we were both working all day. I LOVE THAT!!
