I am a mom to three wonderful grown children; Amy, Dan and Sue & now a 1st time grandma - to little Johnny (Amy's 1st child). I worked as a secretary and a pre-school teacher for many years and enjoy typing, so when I searched for work-at-home, I kept trying to find legitimate typing jobs. I didn't find any, so I tried two other opportunities which did not work out for me. While searching for typing jobs again, I needed to visit a sponsor, and the first sponsor was AmeriPlan®. The Better Business Bureau membership caught my attention with a good feeling. The more I read, the more I felt that this was a good opportunity. After speaking with Kelly and 2 people on her team, I realized that I knew I could be successful, and I liked the fact that I would own a business & be my own boss. I do a fair amount of typing e-mails, so I am able to satisfy that part of my at-home-work that I wanted to do
I did reach the goal of RSD and receive the bonus - but I had made up my mind that if I didn't do that in the 30 days, that I would be happy with the effort I put into it - because I did my best!
My "why" for being in this business is to be able to take my mom on some trips that she would enjoy, to be able to drive more often to NC to visit Amy and Johnny, and supplement our retirement. I am on my way, and it is because of the great coaching from Kelly and Janie. They have been very helpful to me, and our team is truly a team.
