My name is Cindy Watts and I’m married with three daughters and and two precious granddaughters. Family has always been my priority but unfortunately I had to work outside the home while my children were growing up. I worked for nearly 20 years as a nurse in our local county health department believing that I was building long term security for my family.

It wasn’t until I was planning a wedding for my daughter, Becky, that I realized how quickly time was passing by. I had been working 40+ hours a week, week after week, year after year. And what did I have to show for it?  Not very much! One of my babies was already leaving the nest and I didn’t even have the money to throw her the kind of wedding she deserved and I still had 2 more daughters to go.  It was then that I realized I needed to make some changes. Suddenly, the secure lifestyle that I thought I was building for my family didn’t seem so secure.

I guess you can say I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit. My parents and paternal grandparents were business owners and the idea of working for myself had always intrigued me but I thought it would be too expensive and certainly too late for me to start a business of my own.  Over the next few years I tried my hand at direct sales and became an independent consultant for two separate companies but could never find the right product to feel truly passionate about, not to mention, all the money I spent on inventory I would never sell. Sound Familiar?
