I live in Chanute Kansas and I have been with AmeriPlan® for less then a year. I am a mother of two, when I signed up I was a week away from giving birth to my little girl Trinity (although if you met her you would ask why we didn't name her Helen instead) My husband has been supportive of my AmeriPlan® business from the get go and my kids like to imitate me on the phone when I am speaking to people about this amazing opportunity! Like so many of us I didn't start this business thinking of success. I thought "oh is just going to be like all the others I have tried , you spend a lot of time and money and get nothing!". On September 15th I finally reached RSD! I am so excited! This business has stretched me and caused me to grow in ways I never knew were possible for me! I discovered AmeriPlan® through Pennie Berk's advertising but was very skeptical and unsure. My phone line was down when Pennie called for my interview and I never called her back to reschedule! For three months Pennie's "drip" emails kept the opportunity in front of me. I finally signed up when Pennie passed some drip leads to her downline and I received another call. As a dental hygienist, I was excited about the dental plan and that is what I was comfortable working in the beginning. I signed up 17 members between May and July. I finally got the courage to get serious about recruiting and put out some advertising on the internet. Through the ads I was able to sign up the IBOs I needed to reach RSD! Now I am excited about recruiting! I have learned that it is true that you must keep at this business consistently - even when it is tempting to feel discouraged by a rough day! Keep on training, keep on stretching, keep on challenging yourself to learn and step out of your comfort zone into new and exciting adventures! I am so grateful for the amazing support on the Freedom At Home Team! Even though my IBO, Tamara Hicks is no longer with the business, I am grateful to her for all the support and encouragement she gave me as I was getting started. YES! I finally made it to RSD. It feels great! This was tough and exciting at the same time, but perseverance and strength from God brought me through. When I originally came in the business in the summer of 2005, I was a single parent of 2 teenagers (Aviana & Michael), a lot of things were going on, and I wasn't focused, but I knew this was the company I wanted to be with that would allow me to help people. I believed in AmeriPlan®'s® product, and I knew that many would benefit from our service. I helped a few people with the plan and the checks were delivered in the mail just as AmeriPlan® promised, so I knew it was real. Still, I unfortunately allowed obstacles to get in way, the "no's" to discourage me, and eventually allowed brokership to cancel. A few months down the road, I was still looking to make extra income from home in addition to my profession as a medical transcriptionist at home (I did not want to report to anyone's J.O.B). So guess what? That's Right. I came back to AmeriPlan® in December 2005. Things had settled down a bit with my children, I had met my now Husband Derek a few months earlier, and I wanted to work the business. Getting to the point, what really got me motivated was when Frank & Mark Jarvis and Jerome & Debra Scott came to Columbia, SC this summer. From that point on I jumped in and started working my AmeriPlan® Business. The obstacles didn't block me & the "no's" didn't discourage me, because I knew that I could do this business. I focused on my "WHY" and 2 months later I'm RSD. YES! It feels really really great! Some people would say it took me over a year to make RSD because of when I originally signed up for, but I say once I made up my mind to help others save money and realize their potential in having their own business, then IT REALLY ONLY TOOK ME 2 MONTHS! My goal was to make RSD by the end of September. Then we received an e-mail from Janie about this big dream vacation we could go on if we just signed up 6 members or 5 IBOs or 2 vacations if we signed up both between August 20th and September 29th by 5 PM. Oh, My Goodness! Now the trip definitely became my short-term "WHY" (I wanted to qualify for that trip). Just when it looked like I wasn't going to make it, this self-employed man drove up into my driveway trying to sell me meats off his truck and pointed to the sign on my car and said "I need to talk to you about that there too." Well, I went out to see what he had to offer, but I guarantee you, before he left my driveway, Mister had himself individual DVPC plan, his ID #, and a printout of the providers in his area. Isn't that just like God? He showed up right on time! I signed up the last member of the 6 members I needed for the vacation and to make RSD on Friday, September 29th at 2:30 PM (talk about waiting to exhale). Boy, that was close. Whew! Now on to the next plateau, SRSD I'm looking forward to the day when I can just stop transcribing altogether and work my AmeriPlan® business and not have a business work me. I thank my God for guiding every step of the way, my upline April Quesenberry & Janie Jones (our awesome NVP) for being reachable when I needed them and encouraging me, the members I'm able to help save money, and my new Team, who saw the vision and came on board. I would tell anyone. Know your "WHY" for doing the business, and that will keep you focused on your goal. Different techniques of marketing work for different people. Find your niche and work it. Plug in to your team training website, listen to the training audios, and/or sit in on conference calls (live or recorded) a few times a week. It will greatly improve your business. I have been in several companies before, but never have I seen the level of support and training that is being used in this team. I was actually in AmeriPlan® 9 years ago but due to not living in an area with any providers and not having the internet as we do now it was difficult to work and I decided this was going nowhere and quit. This time happened in an unusual way that anyone out there can make note of and use for training. My IBO had my name in her purse for over a year. Someone told her to get in touch with me because I might be interested in this business. About 5 weeks ago, I met Deborah at an office in Ft. Polk, La. The fact that we met was pure chance. It should never have happened. We started talking and it was not long before she is pulling my name out of her purse written on a scrap of paper. Here we are five weeks later, I am an RSD. Deborah is SRSD. Her daughter Brandy is NSD. Moral of the story. Who knows? But if it was me I would pull all those scraps of paper around your house or office out of the cracks and call those prospects. They just may be actually waiting for you to do that. I was. There is often very little in the way of retirement from that business. Since then, I have become a therapist and working for a non-for-profit organization. AmeriPlan® is an answer to a prayer for me. I'd been looking for a legitimate home based business for almost a year. I knew they were out there, I 'd just never ran across any. Then just when I was about to give up, I was blessed with AmeriPlan® opportunity. As a single mother of four (at the time), it was imperative that I find something that was REAL. I needed a solid company that I believed in. I wanted to stop telling my children NO every time that asked for something. Or NO to mommy being able to go on field trips, to games and recitals. Halleluiah! Halleluiah! Halleluiah! Praise be to God! Thank you Jesus! I couldn't have done it without You Lord. We did it team, we are on our way, thank you to my team in Milwaukee. Thank you to both my daughters, Precious and Tasha who helped their Mama once again; to April and Zetta for believing in me and Sandra White, listening to you on Tuesday night's call was the straw that pushed me off that hump. I come from a multiple of experiences, I have taught all ages from infants to senior citizens, I have driven city bus to Greyhound bus cross country, I have worked in social service with Bureau of Child Welfare, I have even driven School bus. I was a single mom with two beautiful daughters (Aleina akaPrecious & Aiesha-akaTasha) and now I have 7 most wonderful grandchildren and I'm still single and loving it. I completed my Graduate studies in Human Services in 2003, with a Bachelor's in Community Education in the class of 2001. After all the jobs I had I knew one thing, I am tired of jumping through the corporation hoops and I don't know how to play their corporate games so I need to get out of that line of business and work for myself. My "WHY" is to get rid of all those Student Loans, become debt free, retire with a fat nest egg and leave a heritage for my hires. Now, I feel I have my place with AmeriPlan®. When I first started with AmeriPlan®, 47 days ago, I had no idea what the next level was or how to get there all I knew was this program was something that I needed and many others did also, I shared the vision. I was receiving unemployment benefits, which were about to end and I had to reach the next level soon. When I received my first check and then another check, I knew this was I've been looking for. I got the spirit! Being an enthusiastic go-getter, all I knew to do was to share this with everyone I came in touch. I strongly practice the "3 foot rule" if you come within three feet of me, you're getting a flyer, a business card or I'm talking to you about this business. I have always enjoyed sharing with people anything I have if I felt they could use it or would use what I have to offer. I have been told I have the Gifts of Help and I love helping maybe because I have had so little help in my life. From the time I first heard of Direct Marketing I knew this was the way to financial freedom, I just needed the right vehicle. I had been into so many other Direct Sales and Network Marking businesses; I didn't want to go to my small warm market again. I didn't want to hear that, "what are you doing or selling now Carol?" I have tried many of the "lotions and potions" since the early 80s and never made any money. I only ended up with too much Crystal for my own house and a smaller bank account. I learned about AmeriPlan® when my best friend forwarded April's Mommy's ad. I went to the web site and liked what I saw, filled out the interview form. After scrolling further down April's email page I saw her phone number, called her and signed up with in a few minutes. My excitement has increased 100 folds and now that I hit my first goal I am on fire. This is so great for me! Might I add my girl friend signed up as I was practicing my script on her, never did I imagine she'd sign up too. Same thing happened with my daughter and others. Those I least expected to become IBO's have. Those who I thought would be an IBO became members. I will never prejudge any one again. Just introduce it and allow them to make the decision at least they can't say they didn't know. You don't need a college education to be successful at this, any one who has the proper sense, the desire and the ability to do what you did can do this business. I'd like to also say, for those who say they want this, please understand anything worth having is worth working for don't look for someone to hand it to you, work for it, earn it yourself then you appreciate it more. Don't expect it to come without effort, you will only get out of this what you put into it, if you only put a little in you'll only get a little out. If you stop or quit then you'll get nothing. Plug into what you have available to you, think about what you want and WRITE IT DOWN. I can't express enough the importance of writing down your goals with time lines. My written goal was to reach RSD by 10-31-06, I hit it by a few days. My next goal is to be SRSD by Christmas 2006. Read your goals share them with your family and friends. This is a business that you are not alone in so don't try to do it alone. If you fail to plan you plan to fail! One of the most valuable lessons to be successful not only with this business, I think but also in life is to be consistent, consistent, and consistent. Stay focused and don't sleep on this or it'll pass you by. Plug into the web sites, conference calls and all the other resources we have available to us. When I'm sitting at home and the phone is not ringing, I get on a call, and if I can get someone on the call with me is a bonus. My friends say they can always tell when I've been gone from home because my phone is jumping off the hook because I leave those paper trails that Becky and Jennifer talk about, that really make a difference. I can't imagine leaving home and not have any phone calls that day, if that happens that means I am not being productive. You've got to find what works for you and stick to it not what you're comfortable doing but what works and if you don't try it you won't find out what works, will you. JUST DO IT! Back to Top

I have to say this has definitely been an incredible 8 months! Before I found AmeriPlan®, I had been researching companies and trying to find something that was right for me. I had tried other companies and although their products were great, my heart was never into it. I didn't like having quotas to meet, or products to buy, and mostly, once I sold something and got paid, I was done until they needed something again. Then, I found AmeriPlan®. I cannot say enough about our residual income! How awesome is that?! There is not a day that goes by that I don't hear of someone that could benefit from us somehow, someway. For the 1st. time, I am with a company that has SO MUCH to offer and I believe in. I love the fact that this is our business and we can work it, when we can work. I had to take about 3 months off due to my 1 yr. old son having cancer. Quitting was never an option though. My husband had to take a month off from his job to help out with kids while Alex was in and out of the hospital. We also have a 4 yr. old with seizures and these can be a little crazy. Anyway, we enjoyed having him around so much that I realized that I have the opportunity in my hands to get him home for good with us and that is definitely my goal! I have to give a special thank you to my husband, Scott for all his support. He is constantly asking me how can I help you today or giving my name and number out to people that he thinks can benefit from AmeriPlan®. I certainly couldn't do this without him. I have no doubt the Good Lord Himself sent my IBO, Cynthia Phillips, to me after my internet lead reached her desk! Why did I find the survey, anyway? Why was I home at 2pm when I never am? Cynthia followed the system perfectly, and as soon as I hear her testimony and Janie Jones' audio...I said, "YES!" Why did I walk away from this opportunity 13 years ago when I learned of it in Louisville to continue my insurance (dead end) pursuits? Why did fate plan the Barrel of Cash for Louisville on 11/11/06 which forced me to hustle more to reach RSD before my heroes, Verna & Mike McDonald came here? I completed by requirements at 2PM (the blessed hour) on Friday, 11/10/06. How did I live through my car being hijacked with me standing at the back door Wednesday, 11/08/06, at 8am as I was getting papers out of a box and just returning to the parking lot after delivering Dental Plan Brochures to a benefit prospect? I know how all this happened, someone above wants me to be successful with Ameriplan®; USA®. He has sent such great teachers and support, the conference call training's have been AWESOME and Saturday's Barrel of Cash training was over-the-top! I live in Columbus, Ohio. I found AmeriPlan® a year ago, and boy am I glad I did! After getting through my training, I had a major life event come up that drained a lot of my time, and energy. So, I made the biggest mistake I could have. I set my business on the back burner to 'simmer.' Recently, I had to leave my full time job due to ongoing childcare issues. I have struggled so hard in the last year to just keep a job and keep decent, affordable childcare. I was forced to leave my job, but the bills were piling up quickly. I realized I either had to hunt for childcare again and get back into the ratrace, or I could get back into the game with AmeriPlan. I decided to do the latter. I decided this time I was going to give my business my all, and not push it aside for anything. You know, life is always going to present a challenge, and I couldn't allow my life to run me anymore. I had to take the bull by the horns, and start creating my own future, regardless of what was going on in the present. I have worked hard, and had a fantastic time doing it. Working my business has enabled me to stay at home. If it weren't for AmeriPlan®, I would be sitting in a call center somewhere. I am so glad I found Becky Blacka; she has been a very important part of my success, and she never gave up on me. It has been an exciting three months. We started in late August and I just had the feeling that this was the company that would take us places. Although, I had to put Janie's article from the Home Business Connection Magazine underneath my husband's (Chuck) nose several times before getting him to read through the article and see what I saw. Once "the light" came on we were both committed to succeed there was no stopping us. Failure is not on my list of things to do, only to reach my goals of moving forward towards financial freedom. November 10th, 2006, RSD! What a great feeling, opening the BIG YELLOW ENVELOPE with the famous CONTRACT and pins. It has been a long winding road trying to get to this point, only because "msbea" wouldn't step out of her comfort zone and move with speed which I normally do with any other project that I take on. Hello, my name is Beatrice (msbea) Horton. I'm a married mother of 45 years with two adult children and grandmother of three. Retired from a 20 year job at one of the hospitals in the city of Flint, MI for what will be 4 years December 20th, 2006. Boredom sent me to surf the net and check out the work at home programs. AmeriPlan® just looked interesting, so I decided to sign up for an interview, which was done quickly with Tiffany Ivy. It was a slow start for me, but once I decided to put my mind to working the business it is full speed ahead. Another reason for me working this business is to make sure my grandchildren have great educations and to help my children with some of their wants and needs. God has blessed me over the years to travel out of the country and great places in the USA to play my favorite sport, GOLF, this has been on hold for five years because of an ailing mother, but that is ok, for I know this is just a test from Him to learn patience. My motto is: "Go forward and Don't look back". Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. I signed up for AmeriPlan® June 10th when my two teenage daughters were out of school for the summer. It was a busy, loud, hectic time and I decided I would spend every spare moment training during the summer months and when my girls went back to school in August, I would finally begin my business when the house was quiet again. Because of this decision, I got off to a very slow start but always knew this day would come. Today, I am one the newest Regional Sales Directors in AmeriPlan® and it feels AWESOME! This journey started a couple years ago, when I got hurt at work. I've tried several different work at home scams and failed at every single one. Then one day, I received a magazine in the mail called HOME/BUSINESS. I spent most of the night reading all the testimonies about all the different opportunities and I came across AmeriPlan®, something about Janie Jones story that caught my attention. As I sit here writing this, its hard to believe that I've truly made my first level of RSD. Its taken just over 2 months, but I knew where I was headed, and for the first time I had the vision, it didn't matter how long it took to get there. I knew this wasn't Get Rich Quick. Ive been saying, Lord, could this really be the business that Ive searched for, for so long? Ive searched for so many years for a Home Based Business that is legitimate, and I've tried more than I care to admit. Thank God he directed me to AmeriPlan® and that I listened. My husband is my WHY as he continues to work after retirement age because of mistakes made time and time again. We both want to give to those in need and Finance the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. You can't do that when you're broke. We have been Servant to the Lender and have gone around the same Mountain far too many times. Im so thankful for my husband Michael, who encourages me each and every day, and once again believing in me. He too knows that AmeriPlan® is from God, although I know he thought at first, she's trying another one. We now, both have the vision with this Company, and thats what it takes. I knew that I had to sign under the right person. I understand down-lines, and I knew how important it was to be in business with the right person as your leader. I interviewed a couple of people, and while they were very nice, I knew I hadn't found the right one yet. Then I read the testimony of Kathy Teese. I knew that God was saying, "This is the one." I was so excited! I called her and told her that God lead me to her. I am so thankful for Kathy, my mentor and friend. She has encouraged me and prayed with me every step of the way and I want to thank God for her and say Kathy, I hope that I can lead and be as much a blessing to my down line as youve been to me. I'm going to the top with you! We don't have any more time for another trip around the mountain; we must enter into the promises of God today. Habakkuk 2:3 says: For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end (fulfillment); it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarries, wait for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day. This has been a Scripture I've kept in my heart for years and now I'm seeing it come to pass. Michael and I won't go around the mountain any more. My husband Ron and I have been AmeriPlan® Independent Business owners since 2004. When we were introduced to AmeriPlan®, we loved the idea of financial freedom and the life style it would provide. This is reality. Besides being parents to our beautiful daughters, Brooklyn (4 yrs old) and Karsyn (7 mos old), we both have full-time jobs. Ron is a driller offshore and I am a night shift RN at a rehabilitation hospital. Our incomes from our traditional jobs allow us to live comfortably, but we realize we lack in other aspects of our lives. We know that AmeriPlan® is not a get rich quick scheme, but with dedication in the near future there will be no babysitters, no missed holidays, ball games, birthdays, anniversaries, or field trips. Now to enlighten you on how all my beliefs in this company began. My IBO is my older sister, Brandy Gray. She stepped out on a limb and had faith in this company based on a stranger's word. Me, on the other hand was skeptical and always believed you had to have a traditional 40 hour a week job to have a decent income. Now my sister has changed my point of view. Thank you to each an every person who has been instrumental in my training, your role to this point can NEVER be forgotten. Those who are already successful to those who are just getting started, your roles are important. There are those who simply want to save money and those who desire to make money (and lots of it), your place is with Ameriplan®; USA®. I have met people who simply want to help others rise above the plight they are currently experiencing without benefits. We inspire others with the introduction of AmeriPlan® into their lives. FINALLY RSD! Well, where do I start? It took me so long to reach this point I don't know if It's really true yet! I have been with AmeriPlan® since the end of March and just when I thought I was on a roll, my 3 year old came in to change my direction! That is what happens when you are a Stay-at-Home and Work-from-Home-Mom! I never know what my day is going to be like until my son wakes up! I do have to thank my family-Chris, my husband, who never has told me no even when I should've been! Also, my 4 beautiful children J.C. 17, Raelyn 15, Carson 7 and Elliot, just turned 3! My WHY: First and foremost I absolutely have to be able to help people in order to feel satisfied with my work. AmeriPlan® satisfies that need while allowing me to work from home, stay close to my daughter and ultimately earn more than I ever would even if I had studied for my SAT test. Almost everyone has 2 main goals, which are to make more money and work from home. However, I also ask every new prospect what their ultimate dream is... If money were no object - that thing that they hold near to their heart and protect. My Dream is to start an Open Scholarship (not necessarily a scholarship for college) An Open Scholarship (cash funds and other support) for people who have been injured on the job, had their lives and sometimes their bodies destroyed and have to build back up again from the bottom - who's goal is to somehow, great or small make the world a more beautiful place. AmeriPlan® gives me the tools and training to build this Open Scholarship Fund, not to mention stay at home with my daughter and buy a great house. My experience with AP so far: 1.) The deeper/more involved I get with this company the more impressed I become. For example- The membership benefits: from learning about the hospital advocacy program on the Health plan side to the Announcement of the New Amerisight Benefit – LASIK starting at $945 an eye! IBO benefits: the discount at Office Depot (cha-ching!) to the First Class Training at Home on the training websites and the fact that AmeriPlan® invests in its IBO'S with continued leadership training, like flying people to Dallas, and putting them up first class for NSD training at the Corporate offices – at no cost to me! Not to mention the income potential! 2.) Also, I've had the pleasure of experiencing certain truths. 1.) This is a Simple business to run. At some point after my training the light bulb came on for me! Halleluiah! This is all I have to do? Put the info out there and "they will come..." Make small yet consistent steps every day and that builds... 2.) A basically unstoppable momentum once it gets going. 3.) I have the opportunity of living my DREAM –if on a slightly smaller scale than the Open Scholarship - on a day-to-day basis with AmeriPlan®. I talk to people who have been through work comp injuries, MVA and regular people who are at a point in their lives where they have either been forced to make a change or they made the choice willingly. Either way it is a new beginning for them. I get to help them through it and I know somewhere along the line that does makes the world a more beautiful place to live in. Where I am going: Obviously I'm going to NVP. The momentum has begun and I won’t change that. Plus I have an answer to the Age-old question: What do you want to be when you grow up? I know it now! Wow, what a fun ride! From the day I found Becky's ad on the internet, my life has changed! And when I say changed, I mean in every aspect. Not only do I have a new lease on my financial future, my confidence and self pride grows each time I talk to a new prospect and they sign up! It is the best feeling to be able to help others bring such happiness into their lives as well. What a high! And, the cool thing about all of this is that it spills over into all the other areas of my life! Others have noticed the wonderful change in me too. As soon as I started doing this, my sign ups increased, I started to relax and my prospects could tell. Another good one is to ask for the business. "How do you "feel" about getting started today?" Ask and you shall receive! For some reason at first this very obvious line was sooo hard to say. I guess I was just waiting and hoping they would say "Get me started" when in actuality, they were waiting for me to take the lead and say "Let me get you started in a business that will absolutely change your life"! When I signed up with AmeriPlan® I got a very slow start for various reasons. It was also a very hectic time for our family, plus I signed up right before a holiday season, my daughter soon after having her second child and needing help, etc. etc. I didn't have time for myself let alone starting a business, but I was bound and determined to make it work - to reach my two why's 1) stop living from paycheck to paycheck, and 2) help my husband who works so hard and so many hours, to retire early. The only time I had to myself was in the middle of the night so I had no real opportunities to make presentations so ... I trained and researched the company, policies, procedures, scripts, how to do this and how to do that, prepared my fliers, ads business cards. Eventually, I started placing ads on the internet even if it was only one a night. I signed up one IBO a month - HEY! It was a start! Finally, this January 1st my new year's resolution was to go "full bull" and really blast this business like crazy all over creation. I rolled up my sleeves, worked hard for my first goal of reaching RSD - and here I am - only 17 days later! - RSD. I can't believe I did it! I knew I could do it in under 30 days, but 17! I'm on cloud nine! First and foremost, I want to thank God, our Heavenly Father for making me see that "Work at Home" ad - I wasn't looking for a job or anything, but this ad kept popping up all over - I couldn't miss it! Skeptic that I was after working many home-based businesses, finally, I thought "ok, let's see what's wrong with this company." I spent two solid weeks researching Ameriplan®; - looking for something wrong - I found nothing! Thank you, Lord, for all of your blessings, for with you I know all things are possible. GOD & AMERIPLAN® will provide: I have had heart problems for some time now. Ive had a tripple by-pass and several other heart procedures since 2002. I had been a construction Superintendent since 1982 and being able to work was getting harder by the day. I received a call one day in September from Kathy Bard telling me about Ameriplan. I wasnt really interested but knew that I wouldnt last much longer as a Superintendent. I had no money saved, no life insurance, my wife has cancer (in remission) and can't work, so if I died she would lose every thing. September 13, 2006 I had a defribrillator installed but when I went back to work, the company let me go. What a shock ! Then I realized God had given me AmeriPlan®. I finally made it I can't believe it. I came across AmeriPlan® in September while online looking for a job. I had taken a leave of absence in June to take care of my father after a heart attack, open heart surgery and many complications. When I was ready to go back to my job I was told my position had been filled because I was gone to long. All I can say is THANK YOU BOSS for doing me the biggest favor of firing me, because if you hadn't I would have never found AmeriPlan®. I wouldn't have had a reason to be looking for work at all and I'd still be going to a job I hated everyday. The day I found that ad I felt like I had been lead to it by someone greater than me, it stood out so much that it was all I could see. I checked it out and the more I read the more I liked what I saw and everything just started to fall into place. Excited just doesn't describe how I feel right now. I'd like to thank my upline Kathleen Bard for all her help and pep talks, she has never been to busy to help me with anything. Getting to RSD wasn't easy, but you know what, it wasn't that hard either. Looking back over the last 3 months, I realized that it's been fun and rewarding. Well, I made it and Im incredibly excited about being with AmeriPlan® and being able to offer benefits that help individuals and families, along with being able to offer others the freedom of working at home for such a great organization. I found AmeriPlan® after many months of looking and was immediately impressed with the integrity of the company and the wonderfully supportive team that we have. My why is that in my previous life I was an executive for a Fortune 100 insurance company, taking corporate jets, and making a lot of money, but I was traveling 50-75% of the time my kids thought their relationship with their mom was on a cell phone. I was working 50-80 hours per week, missing out on our kids events, little time with my husband, and not loving life any longer. We have twin 10 year old kids and our son has Down Syndrome hes doing wonderful but as with all kids with special needs they need additional time so that they are successful in life. I'm now able to do that and be there for both of them. I gave up the corporate life to be a stay-at-home mom, but I needed something that allowed us to take those nice vacations again yet still allow me to be there for the kids Ameriplan®; allows me to do that and more! It's been a long time coming, but a change HAS COME! I am so completely grateful for what God has allowed to take place in my life through AmeriPlan®! I am a stay at home mom and I have been looking to work from home for a long time! On last year, I was searching earnestly to find an opportunity because my son was beginning Pre-K and I wanted to be able to attend school functions with him, be available to go to his class, and not have to put my son and daughter in day care! To add to that element, we are a military family and with my husband being deployed off and on, I wanted to maintain stability for our children AND be able to generate a decent income AT HOME! In my search last year, finding a legitimate company that would provide what I needed and what I was looking for felt impossible! I have tried ALMOST EVERYTHING! From surveys, to work at home job banks, and then the wellness company. By this time, my husband, Anthony, became very weary of work at home opportunities I would find and want to try. No other organization online has such a strong infrastructure for training and support. For that I am thankful. There's no doubt in my mind that God brought me to this opportunity but when something like that happens, you have two choices- LISTEN TO HIM and jump into it or be afraid to step out and lose the blessings that will come with it. My husband is the best man alive. He stands by me, supports me and is my partner when walking the road of life. I've learned to lean on those who are supportive. I made it! I feel like I can take a giant sigh of relief now. I am so excited to have made it to Regional Sales Director. I've never had such a distinguished title before. I began my journey on November 12th, 2006 and for a while there was wondering what the heck am I doing. But, once I figured it all out it became very clear to me. I am creating a better life for my family and I and that was my WHY. Further down the road, my why began to materialize into something even bigger. I work fulltime and just recently the company started to downsize. I'm still with the company, but now I have 3 other jobs that I have to do. Get this, I was in small sales and now I am doing that plus accounting (payables, receivables and payroll) and shipping and teacher support on top of answering the phones and doing customer and technical support. Talk about wearing many hats. So, you can probably imagine what my other WHY is. I'm so grateful that my Heavenly Father led me to AmeriPlan®. I knew before I even spoke with my IBO (Michelle Alvey) that I was going to sign up. As soon as I spoke with Kelly Pira and Regina Morris, I knew I was in the right place. They have answered so many of my questions and have been there for me the whole way. My mentor is Regina just because I knew that she had to overcome a lot of the same obstacles that I did and still do. I know that if she could do it, then I should be able to also. I just have to roll my sleeves up and dig in. I've got some great IBO's that I have the privilege of working with and becoming great friends with. I see so much potential in each one of them. I lost my job as a Judicial Assistant and Deputy Clerk with the County Courts in Colorado, because of my disability. So I decided to get involved with AmeriPlan® in August of 2006. Whew..I made it to RSD! It took me nearly 90 days to do it, but I was determined to get there and now it's done. SRSD here I come! I thank the Lord for leading me to AmeriPlan®. I, like many others, was looking for an avenue to get me out of the daily grind of commuting, working out side the home, and trying to balance a busy family life. My goals are set and I hope to be home full time within the next 12 months. Still to this day I don't know how I found my very supportive IBO Colleen Gatto as I tried to retrace my steps on the internet and couldn't find her link the second time. God certainly had a hand in it, I'm sure. As skeptics go, I'm right at the top of the list. I researched AmeriPlan® from every angle possible including the Better Business Bureau. After all the research I found no legitimate reason why I should not try it out. I called Colleen and said, ok sign me up. What a DREAM COME TRUE! Working for AmeriPlan® will eventually give me the necessary financial freedom to quit the dreaded daily total 3 hour commute and enable me to stay home with my family full time. I am thankful for the opportunity that has been sent my way and with dedication and determination I intend to grow with AmeriPlan®. All the while, I continue to focus on one of the most treasured assets in my life; my family. WOW! What a journey it has been. I can't believe that I have finally made it to RSD! I was beginning to think that this day would never come. But it did. Just like my IBO, Linda Platt, said it would. It has taken me longer then most (almost 1 year) to get to RSD but the journey was well worth it. Giving up was never an option. So to those who think that they are taking too long or don't think they will ever make it, keep going. You WILL make it and it will feel great! I have to thank a few people for helping achieve my first of many goals. First and foremost, I have to thank GOD for bringing this wonderful opportunity into my life. He knew what I needed and placed it right in front of me. I am so glad I finally "listened" to what he was telling me. I also need to thank my family, my "WHY". I was so excited when I found AmeriPlan®! A company that finally made sense. I had been in network marketing since 1997 and became so frustrated with it that I quit for a year. I realized how much I really wanted home based business so I began doing research in the fall of 2005 and came upon AmeriPlan® in the employment section of the Austin American Statesman in January, 2006. I was very impressed with the ad so I completed the Request for Interview Jennifer Horton had placed and Rydell Bain followed up. After a long discussion with Rydell I checked out all the web sites and knew I had finally found a business that was legitimate where I could really give back to people and put something worth while back into their lives. I really got started in April of 2006 and never looked back. There were many times where life got in the way and I just kept on going. I came very close to RSD four times and then something would fall apart so I just picked up and started all over again. As the saying goes "Quitting was not an option." I signed up with AmeriPlan® in November of 2006 for $1. I figured for $1 what could I lose. I did not get started really rolling with the plan until January of 2007. Since that time, I really took a good hard look at this opportunity. I listened to the testimonies of the school bus driver, Fatima Epson, Wendy Hiemenz (this brought me to tears), etc. I knew there was something special here. Initially, I was reluctant to share the business with my family because I knew they were going to say "Oh, what is she up to now?" I thank God that he made me with VISIONARY Eyes. Those of you who have them, you know what I am talking about. These are the eyes that see well beyond what appears tangibly. These eyes see through the setbacks, the tears, the frustration, and the pain to a more hopeful, brighter day. I don't know why God made me the way he made me, but I sure am glad that he made me this way. I love life, even through difficulties. I searched for an opportunity like AmeriPlan® at what seems like the darkest point of my life. My brother literally died in my arms in July of 2006. In August of 2006 my 8 month old baby endured open heart surgery. There I was still grieving at the loss of my big brother, then having to muster the courage, the faith, to be strong for my husband, my children, my other 7 siblings, as I watched them hook my baby up to life support. Thank God her recovery was speedy and unprecedented. She is a tough cookie like her Momma. Although I was born the youngest of 11, in many ways my family leans heavily on me. They always say I am so much like my Momma. She had what I call "unwavering faith." I am glad I was able to soak in the best of her "unwavering faith" near the end of her life. These are words of wisdom to live by; my Mom shared them with me, now I share them with you. "When your life is at its darkest point, just remember, it is darkest just before dawn." I pray God's best for everyone in AmeriPlan® J. Always remember Ephesians 3:20, God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask or think. Back to Top

First and foremost I have to thank God for this business and bringing (my IBO, and now my wonderful friend) Janet Slaton into my life. I have to thank my husband for all of his support and believing in me. I had been searching for months for a work at home opportunity that would fit me. My prayers were answered the day I found AmeriPlan® and the day Janet called me. I was waiting for that phone call! I knew this was it for me! A company I can stand behind and believe in. How awesome is it that we actually get to help people save money on their benefits and get to help people make money from home! WOW, right! Just the idea that I get to be a part of somone else's success is such an awesome feeling. I love the fact that I'm able to stay home with my 2 boys ages 5 and 12mths and generate some checks. YES! I am FINALLY here! And this is just the beginning! I signed up this week for a temporary position delivering Yellow Pages phone books to 600 residences and businesses in a nearby community. Now, the pay isn't good at all, and I have a sedan which means a lot of trips back to the warehouse to get phone books. Why did I do this? I mean, the pay for the 3 next three days I could've easily achieved signing up IBO's. But I do need the money as I'm on limited funds right now, and every little bit helps. Why am I sharing this? I'll tell you what - doing this is pretty humbling, and even though I already was, it makes me even more appreciative of my home business with AmeriPlan®. There are others who probably feel they have no choice but to take on odd jobs like this, for little pay. I, like many others, worked in Corporate America for many years. The thing is, even from my first office job, I had this strong feeling inside that I was not meant to work for someone else. But as it's been mentioned before, we are programmed to think a certain way for much of our lives. We are made to think you go to college, you get a great-paying job, and then you retire (and if you're lucky, you won't be one of the many who still have to work past retirement age to supplement their limited income). I did start one other home-based business a few years ago, but it was a product-based business, that was more of a leisure item than a necessary one. When I got laid off from my last corporate job this past October (on Friday the 13th, no less), I took this as a sign from God that it was time for me to try another home-based business. I found AmeriPlan® via one of Anita Houser's ads - first I signed up as a member, because by that time I'd lost my insurance coverage through my employer, and I couldn't afford COBRA and was not going to spend $200 a month on health insurance that didn't even cover my doctor's visits. Plus, many insurance companies wouldn't accept me because of my medical history. It took me 6 days to take the leap and sign up as an IBO - Anita never even spoke to me via phone until AFTER I signed up with the company! My situation just made me really see how valuable, and how NEEDED this service is. It's not "lotions and potions" or jewelry, this is something that will actually benefit you, every month, every year! It's taken me close to 4 months to reach RSD. In retrospect, I think I could've reached it sooner if I hadn't gotten in my own way. First I was sick for a while, then there came and went the holidays. And, as Anita called it in a team call, I truly was a "training junkie." I love learning new things, and being a bit stubborn and a perfectionist by nature, even though we're told otherwise, I felt I had to know EVERYTHING to be truly successful in this business! It took me a while to even pick up the phone and start touching base with Anita. Yes, to get to RSD has been a struggle, but I know all of this is a temporary setback. With patience, faith and hard work, I know I will be able to kiss all by debt problems GOOD-BYE before I know it. Thank you to God, through whom all things are possible; my boyfriend Mike, for being there for me and for his support - I think he's starting to really see what this is all about, just like I did when I attended Champions Weekend (GO to a convention - it's a priceless experience!); my family and friends for their help and support as well; and of course, to Anita Houser for being such a great leader and just an all-around, wonderful person. I was honored to be able to room with you at Champions Weekend, and I am proud that you are my business partner! I also want to say thanks to Darlene Hickman and Jennifer Wangia, for loaning me your clothes and shoes at Day 1 at Champions Weekend, when my luggage was Missing in Action for over 24 hours. Even though I don't have a lot of money right now, I am sooooo glad I made the point of making it to that weekend - I'm glad to have met you guys and been your roommate! I hope we can do that again soon! It was also a pleasure meeting, not only wonderful people like Kent and Wendy Hiemenz, but many from our Prosperity Team, including "Ms. Bea" Horton, Linda Platt, Rebecca Lomis-Stephan, Elizabeth Carter, Kelly Harrod, Michelle Dawodi, Tiffany Ivy, Tiffany Schanfish, Chris Taylor, Yvonne Coleman - it's great to put faces to names and get to know everyone as people, not just IBO's! I have so many "Why"s for having my own (AmeriPlan®) business, you see a couple of them up there in the picture with me: my nephew Javier, and my niece Alex (and now, my baby nephew Joshua). I don't have a family of my own yet, but I helped raise these two when they were younger, and since my sister and her family moved away to Georgia almost 2 years ago, it's been hard, and I look forward to being able to afford to take more trips down there to spend time with them. Broken down, my "why"s are for time freedom, financial freedom for sure, and to help others achieve their goals and dreams. Don't give up, even when you think this is too hard. I don't think anything truly worth having in life is easy to obtain. This service, and business, makes too much sense to give up on - sooo many people need affordable healthcare, and millions are like us - tired of working for someone else, and having someone else tell us how much we're worth. We are worth so much more. My next goal, besides working towards SRSD and above, is to get over my shyness and visit the small businesses in my area and let people know there is affordable healthcare for all. YEA! I am finally Here! It's definitely been a long road. I actually started AmeriPlan® on November 27, 2006 during the $1 promotion. Little did I know by spending only $1, I was putting myself on the track to fulfilling my lifelong dreams. I had my first child in September 2006 and I like other moms realized how hard it was to part with him when it was time to go back to work. Those feelings mixed with the incredible dread of getting up every morning and going to my 9-5 had me looking for something else. People always ask me how I found AmeriPlan® and I honestly don't remember what search I did or anything, but I do know I was on the internet looking at WAHM and not even far into my search I remember stumbling across Becky Blacka's page. I requested an interview and I even called her before she had a chance to call me. When I first talked to her I didn't get to sign up for two weeks because I didn't have a credit card. But I was determined to start my business for only $1 and I tracked her down and signed up over the phone. Honestly my first two months in the business I didn't really do that much. Sure I made some calls but I had no idea what I was doing. It wasn't until February that I finally got my first check. $30, Oh yeah baby! LOL. Yes, I have definitely stayed on the road with AmeriPlan® but I can't lie at times I did get very discouraged. I never thought about quitting though because honestly I didn't have another plan. I didn't want to go back to school and I didn't want to be working for someone for the rest of my life. It was very hard for me reaching RSD for the simple fact that I am somewhat of a shy person and talking to everyone in my warm market kind of scared me. I thought they were going to think I was nuts or something. But when I finally made the decision to do it before Champions Weekend, I started calling relatives I hadn't seen in 5 years or more and you know what? I didn't even care! Yep, thats what Ameriplan®; has done for me. It's given me confidence in my personal and professional life. Even my boyfriend has noticed a change in me and my friends too. I even talk to strangers at the supermarket now! LOL. AmeriPlan® is the best thing that has ever happened to me in my 22 years besides my beautiful son Tirese Amir and my very supportive boyfriend Tirese Lavell. I thank both of them for being my support system and keeping my focused on all of my WHYS. Oh can't forget my mom either. She won't sign up as an IBO but she is determined to help me, whether its passing out fliers or wearing her tooth pin. (I am still working on her though). But everyone out there that is trying to reach RSD, don't lose faith. Just talk to everyone in your phonebook and don't be afraid to tell everyone you meet. The most they can tell you is NO. I am not scared of those NO's anymore. One more thing, I would like to sincerely thank Becky Blacka. You have been there for me with all the questions that I have had and helped me think of many creative ways to advertise. You are the best Upline ever! Without you I definitely wouldnt be RSD. Hello Team! I am so excited to have achieved RSD this month. The wonderful support from Stacey Hill and Pennie Berk has been unbelievable. I know our whole team was cheering me on. I found AmeriPlan® online one night just searching through various work at home opportunities. Something was different about this one. I needed to find out more. I am a mom of 3 fantastic children. Jackson is 6, Julia is 4, and Nolan is 19 months. I am a Registered Nurse part time and love every minute of it. I work with our county Public Health Division with a program called "Children First". I make home visits to new mothers in our community and I help to educate families on how to care for their medically fragile newborns. I also give encouragement to young mothers who are not sure how to care for a baby. It is very rewarding. When I researched AmeriPlan®, I knew that this could enhance lives of families that I see everyday. So, my reasons for Ameriplan®; were simple. This helps people. I don't look at this business as a hobby or a "right now" thing. I look at it as a long-term investment for my family, who are all so very supportive of me. This has given me the most exhilarating feeling of accomplishment. You know the feeling when you have been working so hard and long and then you can finally see the breaking of day. What an incredible moment that was for me. I started AmeriPlan® in November, on the last day of the 1$ promotion. I did not even go through the interview process. I already knew that this is what I wanted to do. I requested an interview, but ended up calling my IBO to sign up before she could actually get in touch with me. Well, where do we start, we are so excited about the possibilities we have with this company. Here I am at my 1st stop, RSD! I want to thank Melody for placing her ad in Nashville! I appreciate all of the training and time she had given me. I have a 4 year old son, Cole and a 2 year old son, Tyler. I used to teach special education which made my boys go to daycare. My 4 year old loved going to "school!" My 2 year old, however, began having health problems. He was having blood drawn, cultures taken, etc. Tyler was getting sick daily at daycare, but was doing wonderful at home. The doctors finally suggested that he was making himself sick from stress! What! Who am I to make my son so stressed out that he was becoming ill? Well, that was the end of daycare. I decided from then on to be a "stay-at-home" mom. This was going ok, except I kept wanting something MORE! I love to work, I love to speak with adults occasionally, I love to help people! I would like to thank my upline Linda and Anita for helping me and creating a wonderful positive team atmosphere. I feel very fortunate to be associated with such a great company. The motivational training AmeriPlan® provides helps me to grow as a person both in and out of the business. If I can reach RSD anyone can. Prior to AmeriPlan®, I worked as a model, I booked print ads with major department stores, shoes and clothing companies. The pay is great but the instability was a major concern. I would book a big job one month but would have to wait 2 to 6 months before getting paid. That had a great affect on my financial cash flow. I knew I needed some kind of business to suppliment what I was already doing. I started several companies which ultimately did not work out for me, the last company I started before entering Ameriplan®; was an entertainment, hospitality magazine. After the magazine closed I felt like I was at a low point in my life due to the financial losses. I began focusing on my next opportunity and as soon as I saw the ad in the paper for AmeriPlan®, I knew that this was the type of business I would like to do. I enjoy working from my home, no employees or partners to deal with, I can leave at anytime and work a model job or do whatever I need to do for that day. Whoo hoo! I made it, Regional Sales Director in 5 weeks! What a terrific feeling of accomplisment! You know, I actually had feelings of doubt when I didn't sign up 5 people my first week! I'm a bit of a "instant gratification" type of person, so I really had to settle myself down and realize that it takes time and effort - but if you are consistent - and patient - (well at least I was consistent) it does pay off! Things really will start to happen, and when they do, it's really exciting to see what could be - I totally see the "BIG PICTURE" now and I like what I see! I tell you what, I sold Pampered Chef kitchen tools for 8 years and it took me 2 years to reach Director with the company, I certainly like 5 weeks better - especially since half the time I'm working I am in my pj's and/or NOT looking like I could stand up in front of a group of people and "perform"! Plus being able to do this around my family's schedule and really take control of my life is an awesome feeling as well. I really, really want to thank my recruiter, Stephanie Turner, for all the time and patience she gave me. I could not have survived the last week of "one more member to go" without her. She was there, the whole time, cheering me on and giving me words of advice and encouragement. Stephanie, you truly are an awesome trainer and I can't wait to learn from you so that one day I can lead a team in the same professional manner as you do. I also need to thank my husband, Jeff and two daughters, Katlyn (8) and Kassidy (5) for their patience in getting used to my new "job" at home. Jeff believed in me right from the start and was very supportive, and the girls just love having me home and not going out to do parties for other people at night!
